Beschreibung

Brose hat sich dazu bekannt, die ökologischen Auswirkungen der Unternehmenstätigkeit stetig zu reduzieren. Ein Teilaspekt davon sind konkrete Klimaschutzziele, wie die Verpflichtung bis zum Jahr 2039 ein CO₂-neutrales Unternehmen zu sein. Ein wichtiger Meilenstein dahin ist es, die Brose Standorte bis zum Jahr 2025 CO₂-neutral zu betreiben.

Dieses Ziel betrifft Lieferanten explizit, da diese einen erheblichen Teil der CO₂-Emissionen über die Wertschöpfungskette genieren. Neben der Berichtspflicht über die CO₂-Emissionen ist die Vermeidung sowie Entwicklung & Umsetzung eines Emissionsreduktionsplan und im letzten Schritt die Kompensation essenziell.

Dieses Training befähigt Sie mit einem expliziten Fokus auf die Emissionen durch Scope 1 und Scope 2 nach dem Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard alle Schritte von der Berechnung bis zur Kompensation zu verstehen. Am Ende des Trainings haben Sie praxisorientierte, konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen erarbeitet, um Sie für Ihren Weg zur CO₂-Neutralität konkret für die Scope 1 und Scope 2 Emissionen zu befähigen.

Climate protection in the supply chain: Deep Dive Scope 1 and 2

Description

Brose is committed to steadily reducing the ecological impact of its corporate activities. One aspect of this is concrete climate protection targets, such as the commitment to be a CO₂-neutral company by 2039. An important milestone towards this goal is to operate Brose locations in a CO₂-neutral manner by 2025.

This goal explicitly concerns suppliers, as they generate a significant proportion of CO₂-emissions via the value chain. In addition to the obligation to report CO₂-emissions, avoidance as well as the development & implementation of an emission reduction plan and, in the final step, compensation are essential.

This training enables you to understand all steps from calculation to compensation with an explicit focus on emissions through Scope 1 and Scope 2 according to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard. At the end of the training, you will have developed practical, concrete recommendations for action to empower you for your path to CO₂-neutrality specifically for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.
